A wonderful mystery series by one of my favorite authors, Josh Lanyon. It's amusingly meta with mystery authors solving the murder mysteries they keep stumbling into. Christopher and JX have wonderful chemistry, both with their evolving romance and with their snarky banter.

The Haunted Heart: Winter by Josh Lanyon

Sadly, this is the first book in a series unlikely to ever be finished. The worldbuilding definitely left me wanting more, especially the mystery of who Flynn really is.

The House of Maedoc series by Mary Calmes

A wonderful three-book series featuring a not-so-ordinary human who's become part of the secret vampyr world. There's steamy sex scenes, lots of hurt/comfort, and impressive worldbuilding.
